Nursing’s Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS) simplifies the process of applying to nursing programs. Applicants complete one application, select programs of interest, submit any additional supporting materials (such as references, essays, etc.) and information required by their selected programs and submit.
NursingCAS.org acts as the portal to the application, they can find information about how to apply, what questions are asked, and how to reach customer support.
Once directed to the application, if they haven’t already created an account, they can do so by clicking “Create an Account”.
Below is an interactive example of the application. You can see it is split between four sections. Personal Information, Academic History, and Supporting Information are considered core application sections that are necessary for all programs. Program Materials is where program specific information is collected, including additional custom questions, document uploads, and prerequisites as well as any additional information or instructions.
The example below allows you to click through each section to see what all is asked on the application, if you are unsure where to click, you can click anywhere on the app the hotspots will appear briefly. As a reference here is a guide to the applicant experience that lists all of the questions and sections.
